our company was originally founded in 1953 as filmshows ltd at 1a hawkins street, around the corner from our current location on 9 burgh quay, dublin 2. in 1968, the store name was changed to bermingham cameras by then proprietor paddy bermingham which is where our name comes from. he was with the company until his retirement is 1990. now brian whelan- who started in the store in 1968- is the owner and we are a family run business. our emphasis is on providing the highest quality service before, during and after your purchase from our professionally trained staff. between all of our staff, we have over 50 years experience in the photographic trade. we have a broad range of customers ranging from professionals, through enthusiasts to total beginners with photography. we are happy to cater for everybody and our wide range of brands and products should ensure we have the item to suit your needs. along with the products we sell, we offer a wide range of services including hire of equipm
