best aveiro is one of the 95 local groups of best - board of european students of technology. best is an european students organisation in the fields of science, engineering and technology, represented in 33 countries, which has around 3600 members and reaches more than 1 million of students. this organisation works in favor of personal, academic and cultural development of students, providing many opportunities of professional training and cultural exchange. best aveiro organises events that approach students to companies, for example innovation now, an event where they have a closer contact with managers and product developers and where they can start to build their contact network, abcs (aveiro best competions) and ebec (european best engineering competition), both competitions in which participants’ soft and hard skills are put to the test in a race against time. other events, such as btds (best training days), aim to develop students soft-skills, namely time and project management
