beyond bea charity was established in january 2018 by registered midwife steph wild following the death of her daughter bea at 23+4 weeks gestation. steph recognised that bereavement care training for maternity professionals and other health professionals coming into contact with bereaved families was insufficient - often too expensive, not easily accessible, or lacking the right content. beyond bea charity was established to fill this void. delivering accessible, rcm-accredited study days in any trust, university, hospice, or other environment where professionals or students involved in delivering bereavement care work. beyond bea charity study days comprise a combination of clinical training from a registered midwife, human elements from bereaved parents, and interactive hands-on memory-making workshops on inkless prints, clay imprints, photography and 3d castings. beyond bea charity’s ethos is that high-quality bereavement care training should be available to any professional wh
