beyond eyes is an online spectacle frames collection platform that ensures used and new spectacle frames are made available to children and adults who need a pair but cannot afford to access one. based on global data on visual impairment 2010, the world health organization (who) estimates that 285 million people in the world are visually impaired. the good news is that this impairment can be corrected with a pair of prescription glasses. at beyond eyes, we would like to make spectacle frames available to those who cannot afford to get one but desperately need them at no cost. in the process of donating spectacle frames, we collaborate with partner organizations that provide diagnosis and lens prescription at a negotiated rate.
