Beyond Rocket Design

founded in december 2015, beyond rocket design is a brazilian rocket team, headquartered at the federal university of itajubá and is composed by undergraduate students from the institution and a coordinating professor. the team mission is to contribute to the development and expansion of the aerospace industry in brazil and worldwide. the members design, build and launch rockets which reach up to one kilometer of altitude, approximately 3280,84 feet. the students thus apply their knowledge obtained in the areas of engineering and develop skills such as leadership, project management, organization, research and technical knowledge. the team is divided into four subteams: structure and aerodynamics, propulsion, electrical systems and management. the first is responsible for designing the structure of the rocket and conducting aerodynamic studies, aiming at the best performance during the flight and its recovery. propulsion is the subteam responsible for the development and execution of
