for over 40 years, big brothers big sisters of ottawa (bbbso) has been making a positive difference in the lives of children and youth in our nation’s capital by developing and implementing a wide range of mentoring programs. bbbso believes that unlocking a child’s true potential creates a future where anything is possible. what we do today makes a difference tomorrow. together with over 1000 volunteers, we foster, facilitate and support one-to-one and group mentoring relationships with children in need of a role model, mentor and friend. we serve over 100 children and youth annually in programs supported by volunteers based on the principles of safe and quality programming. we serve 1000 children and youth annuallly through one-to-one and group programs, for both in school and outside of school.
