the big five motel is located in palmerston north, manawatu on the lower central north island of new zealand's north island. the motel is located off the main street, so is quiet and tranquil, yet still within walking distance of most civic amenities. all 14 units are new or recently refurbished. units range from studios to 2 bedroom units and are all self catering. facilities include 11 digital sky channels, a bbq and entertainment area, wireless and cable high speed internet. all units have a 32” hd lcd tv. the big five motel is adjacent to ongley park and close to the lido aquatic centre and gym, arena manawatu, massey university, esplanade and riverside walks.
