i believe that all children are special and unique. it is my goal to support children with a safe environment that nurtures self-esteem and security. billerica family day care provides an informal education program to promote learning through hands-on play and discovery. children here are encouraged to become independent, creative, and self-confident. playing comes naturally to young children; it is the primary way a young child learns. our child care program includes a designated playroom and is semi-structured with individual activities, group activities, free play, and outdoor play. many of these activities focus on early learning skills such as letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. we take every opportunity to turn play time into a learning experience. even infants are incorporated in all activities in a way that is appropriate for their age.
