Billericay Volunteers Network

the billericay volunteers network was set up in november 2016 in order to facilitate the growth of the volunteer community in billericay. we are a volunteer army of over 400 active volunteers and residents looking for their cause. we aim to be a tool for community groups and local charities to engage with members, recruit new volunteers, share ideas and strategies, and ultimately expand their communities. since our inception the group has found volunteers for groups such as billericay community cinema, billericay community garden, billericay arts trail and the memory cafe to name a few. we have members and leaders from across the community such as the billericay lions, billericay first responders and the friends of lake meadows. we encourage our members to share content freely on our social media groups, including volunteering opportunities and updates on their groups. we are an open forum for both existing volunteers and individuals looking for volunteering opportunities
