Bio 2 Watt (Pty) LTD

bio2watt is a south african project development company that aims to develop, own and operate waste to energy projects throughout africa. the first of bio2watt's project is the bronkhorstspruit biogas project (bbp) situated 40 km east of pretoria in tshwane, this project will be the first private independent power producer in south africa wheeling through eskom. power utility, and then through the tshwane municipal network to the off-taker. the bbp model will be replicated in south africa and bio2watt already has a second project in development in the western cape, a few other biogas projects are in the pipeline in and around the major industrial centres. bio2watt will not be technology specific but its first projects will make use of established anaerobic digestion technology partners.
