bio-fed, located at the biocampus cologne, is an expert in developing, compounding and marketing biodegradable and/or biobased compounds under the brand name m·vera®. depending on the requirement profile, these biocompounds are manufactured either completely or partially from renewable resources and are biodegradable in various environments or suitable for durable use. bio-fed uses the production and parts of the laboratory of akro-plastic and cooperates closely with their other branch, af-color (www.af-color.com), in the development and sales of biodegradable color, carbon black and additive masterbatches named af-eco®. akro-plastic gmbh and af-color are headquartered in niederzissen, rhineland-palatinate, germany. bio-fed was founded in october 2014 as branch of akro-plastic gmbh (www.akro-plastic.com) which belongs to the feddersen group (www.kdfeddersen.com).
