transforming biomass into electricity and heat is the brightest renewable energy source. it is reliable, needs no storage equipment, and -different to solar and wind- operates stable, regardless of daytime and weather. our chp (combined heat and power) mini-powerplants, fueled by wood chips or pellets, are carbon neutral, since wood has collected high amounts of co2 during its lifetime, so co2 emittance during energy generation is balanced. locally generated electricity and heat from domestic waste- dead- or used- wood does not just contribute to turning fossil into renewable energy. it also creates independence from electricity suppliers and the expected price increase, or be sold for profit.
