biofab is developing a novel platform for point-of-care testing (poct). this platform is highly flexible in nature and will allow tests for a wide range of disease conditions to be implemented rapidly in many situations. it can be deployed in both medical and non-medical settings and remote locations far from centralised clinical laboratories. we have a prototype device with proof-of-principle results demonstrating detection of cardiac markers. now we seek to apply the platform to infectious disease, and especially to covid-19,. the device could be applied in multiple scenarios to help combat the spread of infection and can run multiple types of assay depending on the needs of the situation. we are seeking seed investment to take the project forward. please get in touch if you want to get involved.
