l’associazione biosfera onlus, costituita nel 2003, promuove interventi riabilitativi, educativi e di integrazione sociale con la convinzione che la relazione tra uomo e natura sia lo strumento principale per creare benessere e migliorare la qualità della vita della persona nella sua globalità. biosfera onlus, fin dall’inizio delle sue attività, ha dato ampio spazio alla ricerca scientifica nell’ambito delle terapie che utilizzano piante ed animali, dette generalmente green care, allo scopo di approfondire i benefici e le applicazioni delle t.a.a. (terapie assistite da animali) in particolare di ippoterapia e riabilitazione equestre, ma anche della terapia occupazionale con animali. biosfera onlus, inoltre, è stata promotrice e protagonista del “movimento” nato intorno all’agricoltura sociale ed ha promosso iniziative di divulgazione e informazione di questo nuovo modello di cooperazione e welfare sostenibile, tra cui il forum fattorie sociali della provincia di roma, il primo convegno
