Biz for Education
tim and his wife betsy are former educators who became increasingly frustrated with the constant cutbacks in school funding. as teachers, they felt that they should be focusing all their efforts on the growth of their students, not pushing their kids to sell overpriced items that their parents don’t need and can’t afford. they knew there had to be a better way, so they launched biz for education. at its core, biz for education is devoted to growing communities. it creates a win – win - win solution that helps local businesses to grow, provides additional funding for schools so they can focus on giving our students the education that they deserve and, ultimately, brings local communities together. biz for education was launched in denver, colorado. by 2016 it will have a presence in school districts across the entire us, helping improve the education opportunities for millions of american youth.
