biztech academy helps increase post-military success through virtual and live instructor-led business & technology programs to help veterans become highly-skilled tech freelancers and/or gain meaningful, stable employment. we exist to help the 138,000 annually exiting service members who are undervalued and underskilled. we provide virtual learning experiences that focus on teaching highly-sought after tech skills, paired with our proprietary business management & entrepreneurship curriculum. we have changed tech education in that we focus on the entirety of the student's needs. our focus is on veterans because we know the true struggles and needs of separating service members. our founder, eugene calhoun, served 5 years in the united states marine corps, and 6 months after separating he re-entered the service, both mentally and financially, defeated. biztech academy will teach not only the technical skills needed to thrive in the civilian sector but also provides needed veteran re
