photographer bjorn’s work fuses small-town warmth and sincerity with an urban photojournalistic aesthetic for a sense of ease, integrity and nostalgia in every image. bjorn studied photography at andrews university, where he curated gallery and multimedia events. he is strongly influenced by the work of sebastian salgado and henri cartier-bresson, as well as by his own background in architecture and design. bjorn works with commercial, editorial, and corporate clients, and his projects have spanned the u.s. as well as peru, india, and puerta plata in the dominican republic. he most enjoys photographing people on location.
