Bklyn Mentors

bklyn mentors is a volunteer network of minority professionals committed to providing early-career guidance, education and information to middle school aged kids from low-income communities. bklyn mentors exposes young kids from underserved communities to accomplished industry professionals from similar backgrounds who will be a real resource, guide and source of inspiration for kids. mentor activities include career expositions, mentor-to-student programs and collaborations with known corporations and institutions. the mission of bklyn mentors is to support and encourage kids in less fortunate districts to investigate, learn of and explore career options and job industries early on, so they are better prepared to make choices with respect to college entry, advanced degrees and pursuit of viable careers.
