Black Bull Gartmore

community owned hub and pub located the trossachs national park. located at the foot of the trossachs in the rural heart of scotland, gartmore knows the value of keeping its amenities in the community. in 1997, gartmore residents took their village shop and post office into community ownership and has followed suit by purchasing the black bull to ensure it too remains a valued part of community life. gartmore is the first community in scotland to own both its shop and pub, a remarkable feat for this small stirlingshire village. the black bull hub & pub opened on 2nd september 2019 and we have big plans to refurbish the public rooms and bedrooms, set up a café and cater for a wide range of functions. in the meantime, please bear with us as the changes take place and most importantly come in and say hello. whether you are coming from near or far, for a drink, a meal or a coffee, you can be assured of a warm welcome at the black bull.
