welcome to black diamond karate and self defense(formerly known as american isshin ryu karate academy) located in flanders nj, 07836. black diamond karate and is a "no contracts"​ facility and we offer family friendly tuition plans. at black diamond karate the students learn martial arts, self defense and kabudo classes based off of a traditional isshin ryu karate curriculum, but with the additional support of modern training equipment, teaching methods and theories. in addition to the our isshin ryu karate classes we have also incorporated many concepts from judo and collegiate wrestling for our grappling/ ground fighting programs. the classes are designed for students of all age groups.
