Blackbox Photo

blackbox photo is a photo collective focused on event documentation. it was started by two photographers, joanna combik and joanna ‘frota’ kurkowska, in the fall of 2008. we have been providing our clients with professional event coverage from various events. these events include major music festivals (i.e. heineken open’er, off festival, jarocin festival, cracow screen festival and coke live) and single concerts (i.e. the police, kraftwerk, ladytron, katie melua, nightwish, nouvelle vague and pearl jam). click here to view the full list of artists and festivals we have covered. we also photograph theatres and promotional events. we have prepared documentations for film festivals (i.e. off camera), workshops (i.e. soundedit) and tv programmes (two seasons of letnia kawiarenka wirtualnej polski). we also collaborate with the organisers of the europride 2010 festival – we provide the pre-festival documentation. our offer also includes photosessions, gathering materials for the sponsors a
