what is blackskye media? -- blackskye media is a team of passionate music fans writing and sharing about what they love. your new first source for underground and alternative music news. we were tired of other music news outlets posting more about fashion and irrelevant topics. these same outlets were deviating more and more from the styles of music we’ve grown to love over the years. on the flip side, we became jaded by “metal” blogs only promoting what they deem to be “metal”–which is typically a very antiquated and niche definition. what we wanted was a music news site we would read every day. it didn’t exist. so we made it. the mission statement -- blackskye media's mission is to create a news outlet for underground bands and artists allowing consumers to discover new music and receive updates about bands they are a fan of. blackskye media provides a culture for its team that is passionate and optimistic to create valuable content for consumers that share similar interests.
