blackstone launchpad is a year-round program dedicated to supporting entrepreneurship. regardless of the industry or stage of development, our services will help our beneficiaries launch their startups to the next level. blackstone launchpad's are located at ucla, usc, and uci in the la region. all ucla, usc, uci students and alumni looking to start, further develop, or join a startup or nonprofit will benefit from our expert consultants, network, and other services. all services are free of charge for ucla, usc, and uci students, alumni, faculty, and staff. in february of 2014, the blackstone charitable foundation announced blackstone launchpad’s expansion into southern california, with a three-year, $3.5 million grant to establish a partnership between the university of california, los angeles, the university of california, irvine, the university of southern california, and the los angeles county economic development corporation.
