we are one of the only fully integrated sustainable charcoal producers in the world. all our dense hardwood comes from our own 41,545 hectare industrial forest concession. we process the hardwood to lump charcoal sizes in our modern factory of 20,000 sqm and then carbonise the wood in closed retort systems to over 500 celsius. after the charcoal is allowed to cool we then sort the charcoal into sizes suitable for packaging as blackwood hardwood lump charcoal and all the smaller pieces and charcoal fines go to be processed in our 3 tph briquetting line. the small pieces are crushed to a very fine powder then mixed with just 3% food grade starch and water and formed to pillow shaped briquettes under 1.5 tons/ cm2 pressure. once formed the briquettes are then dried in our ovens for 24 hours at up to 140 celsius. assuring our buyers very high quality and durable briquettes. both our hardwood lump charcoal and hardwood charcoal briquettes are of very high consistent quality due to our produ
