blank canvas gallery is an art house and open space powered by the collective omit limitation. blank canvas is considered to be one of toronto’s very first “dbc” (done by community) spaces. blank canvas has created a home for artists around the city to feel safe without judgment and strives to bridge the gap between emerging and professional artists in toronto. monthly programming such as the notable "dead poet" event, which consists of several spoken word performances with an open mic twist, have garnered blank canvas gallery quite a following. in addition to monthly events organized by the gallery's curator, john samuels, blank canvas can be rented hourly, daily or weekly to accommodate the up and coming artists budget. it all starts with a blank canvas!
