Blank Space Workshop

blank space workshop is a space for theatrical writers of any level. our mission is to provide our season playwrights with a space to workshop developing scripts with a director and actor collaborators and provide them with the necessary resources to navigate the future of their work beyond the early stages. we invite our audiences to celebrate the process with our writers and interact with the written work. blank space workshop also aims to provide educational programming for writers within ann arbor and the university of michigan campus, whether or not they are presenting a reading of their work through us. our mission encompasses readily supplying playwrights with mentoring, resources, and networking opportunities. above all, blank space workshop’s mission is to serve the writer and the strenuous process of writing for the stage, putting development over presentation.
