Blastr Green Steel

the global steel industry is responsible for 8% of today’s global co2 emissions. blastr green steel will be piloting and utilizing tomorrow’s technology securing reliable and highly efficient production. we will produce high quality green steel, almost without any co2 emissions. clean and renewable energy, together with state-of-the-art digitalized production technology, will ensure cost leadership in the green transition. our project will contribute to a reduction in emissions of nearly 4.6 million tons co2 per year, comparable to more than fifty percent of the entire co2 emissions from the norwegian road traffic in 2020. through extensive technical and economical pre-studies, we created the foundation for a new, big, and green industrial adventure. the integrated concept including all production steps, from pelletizing iron ore to production of high-quality steel on coil. with a production capacity of 2.5 million tons per year.
