we invest in and advise small to mid sized cpg companies who aspire to be socially responsible and sustainably conscious. we supply seed or early stage funds of a variety of sizes. we prefer to enter into arrangements where our expertise is regularly drawn upon and that we actively participate in. we serve regularly on boards of directors, on advisory boards and work in a variety of compensation models. we often find that small companies we work with cannot afford the expert mentoring, due to the high capital needs of start-up cpg companies. bruce and lee both serve as equity compensated advisors to many of the companies we work with and invest in. we love working with young, vibrant and mission driven organizations. growing a company like whole foods market has given both of us tremendous experience and insight into how to set up and grow a mission driven organization. lee goes back to whole foods market’s very first store, on lamar blvd in austin, bruce started in the 6th store in pa
