Blister Balm®
in the early 1970s, a chemist named jim brown was working for a personal care ingredient manufacturing company. in the course of his research, he became aware of the jojoba plant and discovered its many benefits. hydrolyzed jojoba esters are derived from jojoba oil and frequently used in many cosmetics formulations. this essential form of jojoba is comprised of an array of long chain fatty alcohols and potassium salts with chain lengths of c-16 to c26 and has been found to be an exceptionally effective natural ingredient of a cold sore treatment product. after realizing the great advantages of jojoba oils, jim decided to approach the skin care industry and share what he’d learned. he and his wife would spend their evenings putting together little containers of jojoba product samples and send them to skin care manufacturers. it wasn’t too long before people began to realize how amazing the jojoba oils and esters were for skin and hair. jim went on to not only provide jojoba products
