block commodities is a london nex exchange listed company with core focus on maximising value through blockchain ecosystems leveraging on its current main fertiliser assets and fertiliser trading business, as well as its already established relationships in africa, block commodities is creating a new platform to promote economic growth while creating opportunities and empowering communities. these resources will be linked up through the vertical integration of primary industries down to consumers via a blockchain-based supply chain. using blockchain’s dynamic structure, block aims to incorporate all market participants into an efficient ecosystem, facilitating the commercial operation of the agricultural production cycle. the pilot project starts in uganda in partnership with wala, the blockchain-enabled financial platform for emerging markets, and dala. the project will expand to the rest of the sub-saharan region in due course. to succeed in their objective, block has established
