Block Tras Block

having seen the situation of people living in marginated communities around mexico city, block tras block was born in 2017. since then we have built 23 house for families in need and 1 community center. we employ local workforce and construction materials come form a neighborhood store. while underlying the importance of working in rural communities, we also aim to help our donors develop social awareness by organizing integration activities between them and the families being helped. at the moment we have a volunteering program with students from tecnológico de monterrey. with their help we are targeting problems that members of the community recognized to be urgent; such as the access to a clean water source. finally, we are collaborating with a local help group to engage teenagers in educational and recreational activities, to avoid them getting started in drugs and alcohol.
