we are forming blue bear ventures to make early-stage investments in radical innovation from uc berkeley and the entire university of california system, building on the success we’ve had growing the citris foundry accelerator on the berkeley campus since 2012. as a team of successful entrepreneurs and berkeley phds, we’re moved to found bbv because of the incredible technology and talent we’ve seen in this community. we’re excited about providing a smoother startup path and expert guidance to uc entrepreneurs, while offering investors access to the remarkable and diverse technology innovations from berkeley and the broader uc system.
