we are a fee only investment advisory firm. we receive no commissions, no soft dollars and no compensation other than our annual fee. our fee is based on a percent of assets, giving us an economic incentive to grow wealth, while keeping fees and expenses to our clients as low as reasonably possible. some firms may charge a management fee while also earning additional compensation for their firm by directing funds to affiliated smas, hedge funds, mutual funds, structured products, private equity investments, etc. we do not have these commitments which we believe provides a distinct advantage to our clientele. with no obligations we have access to innovative investment ideas and are free to seek out what we believe are the best investment opportunities for our clients regardless of the source or provider.
