Blue Guitar Project

blue guitar project (bgp) is a charity that helps keep youth off the streets and supports teenage dreams. inspired by a homeless teenage boy who wanted his dreams to come true, we set out to create social change through the blue guitar project, which provides creative educational programs in high schools to help inspire underprivileged teenagers to develop, celebrate and connect to their dreams using photography, lyrics, guitar building and filmmaking, all of which culminate in an end of program exhibition. starting off as a single in-school program in august 2014 at key college, sydney, the blue guitar project has now grown to encompass over 14 high schools in australia and one in jamaica with more commencing each term. we also have plans to pilot our school program in the us in 2018 in palm springs, california. the blue guitar represents dreams coming true out of the blue, building on our dreams and it also represents unity, equality & freedom. we have started inviting musicians to p
