blue heaven is dedicated to providing safe, high-quality therapeutic horseback riding experiences designed to strengthen the minds and bodies of its clients with physical or emotional disabilities. blue heaven’s operations currently support three distinct programs. the hippotherapy program is designed to provide clients with physical disabilities the opportunity to experience the strength, mobility and confidence that comes when the client is paired with a seasoned therapy horse, licensed physical therapist, and trained instructor. the equine assisted behavioral program targets at-risk individuals who have been identified displaying dangerous behaviors. in these sessions, we partner a seasoned therapy horse with a group of six to eight children who engage in activities that address trust, cooperation, self-confidence, respect for authority, and the consequences of behaviors. the program, designed to maximize the interaction of the students with each other and with the horses for specif
