this store provides great tasting roasted to order coffee that you can buy online from the comfort of your home and delivered to you. we have different blends, single origins and flavored coffees. blue hen coffee got it's name from delaware's state bird the blue hen. as you could probably guess our owner was born and raised in delaware. it wasn't until he left the state after joining the military that he realized how much he missed home. early mornings led to late nights, late nights turned to early mornings coffee in hand is what kept the engine going. combining what keeps his body moving and what keeps his heart pumping blue hen coffee was born. with delaware being one of the main influences in the creation of blue hen coffee a portion of the proceeds of each sale is donated to the food bank of delaware as one of our ways of giving back to the 1st state.
