our mission is to empower students and professionals with the tools to advance healthcare technologies and improve patient care around the world. blue linc provides clinical immersion and hands-on training in medical innovation. we create teams of graduate student innovators with backgrounds in engineering, medicine, and business who are excited to collaborate together and solve real-world clinical problems that can serve the healthcare community. teams undergo a repeatable process to identify relevant healthcare problems, invent and prototype novel solutions, and implement a strategy for launching a product that impacts patient care. student innovators learn from a diverse array of clinicians, successful entrepreneurs, attorneys, fda experts, and investors. this 8-month program is provided to uc san diego students free of charge. at blue linc, student innovators will: learn about challenges in healthcare to identify unmet needs innovate novel technological solutions to develop functio
