Blue Mountain Hideaway

beltzville lake, located in carbon county, is a long, narrow lake with nearly 20 miles of shoreline. the lake itself is 7 miles long, covering 949 acres and is part of beltzville state park. beltzville lake was constructed by the u.s. army corps of engineers as part of their flood control project. the state of pennsylvania provides boat launches, picnic areas, swimming areas, beaches, hiking trails, and many other outdoor facilities. there is no limit on type of boat motor, or size, so you can kick it into high gear! both largemouth and smallmouth bass roam the lake, as well as a few stripers.
