blue planet network, a program of thrive networks, is a global online network of water experts, grass-roots communities and funders focused on improving the impact of water programs worldwide. blue planet network works to connect all the players in the water, sanitation and hygiene sector in the the planning, selection, management and monitoring of water and sanitation programs. this leads to more lasting impact at lower costs. people across 26 countries have benefited from the water and sanitation projects implemented and now tracked by our network of 100+ members. photo by jon polka. students of camoapa, nicaragua gather around the new pump.
