Blue Quill Community League

the blue quill community league strives to provide a sense of community and to enhance the quality of life in the greater blue quill community by providing: facilities for community use; excellent social, recreational and cultural programs; and focused advocacy efforts. the league was founded in 1979 and its neighbourhoods are comprised of approximately 4,500 homes and over 10,750 residents. the league is run by a volunteer board of 13 directors and has annual cash flow of about $450,000. the hall facility has multi-use rooms available for rent including a full-service kitchen, sprung dance floors, mirrored walls, and a meeting boardroom. the league maintains outdoor tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, toboganning hill and ice skating rink. a variety of programs are offered in the hall throughout the year including martial arts, dancing, fitness, scouting, guiding and cultural classes.
