in my studio in beautiful montpelier, vermont you will find me hand-binding journals, photo albums, and guest books using traditional bookbinding techniques. i also design and create custom invitations and announcements. i welcome and enjoy custom work - i want to help you achieve your vision. i work with handmade papers and materials from both local artisans and from around the world. i have a special interest in using "green" materials that contain recycled content. i strive to create books that maintain the beauty and integrity of the materials with which i work. all of the materials i use are acid-free to ensure the longevity of your photos. in addition to my handmade work, i am also able to do basic book repairs. i offer a range of bookbinding workshops appropriate for either students or teachers. i have worked in both traditional and non-traditional educational settings, art centers, and community festivals. workshops are easily adapted to make them accessible to a variety of pop
