kids participating in our programs get more than just sports. our coaches are also mentors; they are encouraged to get involved with the total child by reinforcing the positive messages/lessons from school and home, we teach organized sports to every child while stressing nutrition and general physical fitness as equal components in being and doing one’s best. we teach and reinforce the life lessons of teamwork, dependability, sportsmanship, dedication, and hard work. these lessons translate to every part of life and give children a solid framework to be honest, productive, and motivated adults. we at barney mccosky welcome everyone, regardless of skill level. here, it’s all about the individual’s journey, so you only have to live up to your own standards.
