about bmd provides computational solutions for better decision making and knowledge management in health and life science industries. mission our mission is the development of novel biomedical software solutions. the company is grounded on the 15-years experience of its members, in medical imaging, bioinformatics and biomedical applications. bmd founders have been conducting research within the bioinformatics group of university of aveiro and the company assets are greatly based on that knowledge. description our main field of expertise is the development and maintenance of medical imaging solutions (e.g. pacs and ris), of biomedical applications (e.g. genotype-to-phenotype integration), and of bioinformatics tools (e.g. gene and protein analysis).
