the uk’s only training campus dedicated to the principles of bms (building management systems) electrical installations. delegates are taught all aspects of how to install a bms system including - what is a bms sytem - how bms systems control heating, cooling, ventilations and domestic water systems - how to read panel drawings, - identifying plant (boilers, pressurisation units, chillers, ahu, fcu’s, pumps etc) - identifying pipework and ductwork to allow the correct placement of temperature sensors, pressure sensors, differential pressure switches, valve actuators, heat meters and other control devices - reading mechanical schematics - function and purpose of control devices - safe installation practices - cable types and how they are used - safety circuits - gas detection systems - networking (modbus, m-bus, ethernet, ms/tp, bacnet) - metering (gas, water, electricity, heat) - industry terminology and acronyms practical assessment of what you have learnt in our fully functioning
