there are many family history research businesses in hungary. how could dandelion genealogy offer something different? family research is about more than just finding out data, for example, what your great-grandparents' names were and when and where they were born. this information does not reveal their imaginary figures. in order to make the lives of our ancestors more personal, further background research is needed, which my training as a historian and my seventeen years of experience as an archivist can serve in many ways. my goal is to turn dry data into imaginable, flesh-and-blood ancestors. to make the research more vivid and personal, i also visit key sites in the lives of ancestors and make short reports on them. there is enormous emotional power in being able to visit the cemeteries where they were buried, the houses where they lived, the main squares where they walked and that framed their lives, or the churches, prayer houses, synagogues where their marriages added a new fam
