what we do: the brhg's aim is to allow its members to share and learn from all organisations active in social housing. the building research housing group (brhg) formed in april 1992, has become the largest group of innovative social housing providers. members of the group have an overall responsibility for thousands of homes and spends millions on maintenance, management and development. a proactive steering committee, elected by the membership, directs all group activities which are co-ordinated by a secretariat from the building research establishment (bre). in addition to social landlords, membership is available to commercial organisations which provide services to the social housing sector, social housing provider organisations and individuals working for social housing providers. our aims: • to encourage, facilitate and promote the co-ordination and sharing of technical information on construction, maintenance, refurbishment, renewal and repair of housing. • provide resources to
