in 1999, the buffalo intellectual property law journal (biplj) was founded in an effort to meet the growing demand for information on intellectual property law. as technology becomes increasingly more important in today’s world, the biplj continues to publish articles addressing the legal issues of intellectual property and serve as an academic resource to the western new york community. the biplj publishes articles solicited from students, academics, and practicing attorneys. student editors are responsible for all aspects of the publication, including marketing and promotion. mark bartholomew and rick su, law professors at suny buffalo law school, advise the biplj. professor bartholomew’s scholarship and teaching focus on intellectual property law and technology, with an emphasis on copyright, trademarks, advertising regulation, and online privacy.
