buffalo precision glass (bpg) is located in batavia ny. our production facility is staffed with well-trained, experienced technicians supported by our engineering team. the fabrication facility has a wide breadth of manufacturing capabilities, specializing in the production of curved lenses, parabolic, spherical and elliptical. many of our lenses are used in the marine, aviation and entertainment industries as reflective mirrors for searchlights and spotlights. much of the same technology, first developed by bausch & lomb, is still used in manufacturing our curved bent glass. proprietary equipment and techniques allow bpg to produce high quality curves that minimize the need for additional grinding and polishing. our investment in technology and equipment operated by our knowledgeable staff allows us to consistently achieve tight tolerances on specifications, and provides high-quality optics at competitive prices.
