Buikwe Disabled & Vulnerable Empowerment Association

buikwe disabled $ vulnerable empowerment association (budivea) was started in january, 2016 by kamuwanda bettya a young female with disability. she was inspired by her life story and struggle as a vulnerable and orphaned girl with disability from hard to reach areas, hence wishing to help others in the similar situation. it is a community based organization with a purpose to promote opportunities to support, connect and grow the disability, ageing and orphaned community in the hard to reach communities of buikwe. we focus on; justice and human rights, education, accommodation, water and sanitation, health and livelihood, enterprise. to achieve our purpose, we work through lobbying, mentoring, networking, strategic alliances, and developing and recognizing excellence in the disabled, old persons and orphans.
