build, rva is a reinvention of the american barn. throughout the industrial revolution, up and into the early days of aerospace and rocketry, the american barn was a place where people would come together to discuss problems, learn, teach, and create solutions together. the american barn was a place where the high level science of academia was harnessed, utilized and applied to great effect by everyone. in so doing, such american barns enabled new businesses and successful entrepreneurship. however, both figuratively and literally, america has sold its’ barn. nowadays, many americans live in apartments and condominiums. garages and barns have become less an item of the typical, and more of a rare commodity. this effect, amplified by the current debt burdens on a typical american from student loans, car loans, and more; a well equipped, easily accessible, and technologically savvy workshop is but a relic of the past. build, rva, understands that oh‐so‐common phrasing we all hear these d
